Envision Composite Decking – Decades of Quality
Envision composite decking is one of the pioneers in the decking industry, introducing their EverGrain line more than 20 years ago. Our installation and deck cost guide will provide you with a comprehensive overview of all of Envision’s composite decking products, installation and maintenance, and decking costs.
About Envision Decking
Unlike other composite decking products, Envision manufactures their products using their exclusive Compress Technology. All Envision deck boards are compression molded rather than extruded like other composite decking products. This process uses pressure and heat to remove any air pockets, bonds the cap and core of the board together, and presses the grain-pattern into the board. In fact, Envision’s grain pattern never repeats across a single deck board.
All of Envision’s decking lines are built using the original EverGrain core for stability, durability, and strength. All decking is also resistant to rotting, splitting, mold and insects.
Where to Buy Envision Decking
Envision decking is available at independent lumberyards and decking retailers across the country.
Did you Know? Envision decking is also called Envision composite lumber. All of Envision’s composite decking products are suitable for decks, porches, boardwalks and docks, as well as outdoor wall cladding.
Envision Decking Styles
Envision was one of the first companies on the composite decking scene when the EverGrain line was first produced in 1999. Since then, their product line has expanded and now features four additional lines, Distinction, Inspiration, Expression, and Ridge Premium.
The luxury-grade line of decking is named Envision Distinction. It features four rich colors, Grey Wood, Rustic Walnut, Shaded Auburn, and Spiced Teak. Each board in the Distinction collection has four to six highlight colors and a deep grain to mimic the look of exotic hardwoods.

The Envision Inspiration is a mid-grade decking line and is made to resemble reclaimed wood. Inspiration is available in three farmhouse-inspired colors, Barnwood Plank, Tangled Twine, and Weathered Wicker. The highlights are blended throughout each plank for a softer, aged look.

A more traditional mid-range decking line is the Envision Expression featuring four bold colors that mimic painted wood, Caribou Brown, Woodland Bark, Canyon Ridge, and Harbor Grey.

Envision EverGrain is the company’s original decking collection. It comes in three solid colors, Cape Cod Grey, Redwood, and Weathered Wood, with a deep non-repeating grain pattern making for a unique texture, similar to natural wood. The EverGrain line is a more economical option while still being very durable.

Care and Maintenance for your Envision Deck
Envision composite decking is designed to be virtually maintenance free and never requires any sanding, staining, or sealing. Envision recommends semi-annual cleaning with a standard garden hose to remove dirt and other residue. A mild dish detergent can be used if necessary.
Pro Tip/Warning!!! Pressure washing is not advised, and do not sand the decking to remove stains. Those practices might deface the deck, ruining its appearance. And Envision might not honor a warranty claim if the homeowner has caused the damage with these practices.
Deck Warranty Information
Envision Distinction, Inspiration, Expression, and EverGrain decking lines come with a 25-year limited warranty for residential and commercial applications, along with all Tam-Rail railing systems. The Ridge Premium collection is backed with a 25-year limited warranty for residential use and a 10-year limited warranty for commercial use.
Pro Installation Tip: Make sure that all products are installed according to Envision’s instructions and that all spills and messes are cleaned immediately or the warranty may be voided.
